Innovation

Ultrashield Eclipse is a new innovation in Solar Control for conservatories with polycarbonate roofs. The film is manufactured using the highest quality, biaxially oriented PET Film. The film is then sputter coated to form a superior metalized barrier. In Ultrashield Eclipse the metalization process that takes place is more intense than solar inserts. This provides higher protection agaisnt the sun's solar rays.

Ultrashield Eclipse is also unique in that it is silver on the outside and white on the inside. The colouring for the inside has been chosen specifically for it's aesthetic appeal in addition to its light and heat reflection properties.

Once installed Ultrashield Eclipse Inserts are maintenance free. Unlike blinds they require no cleaning will not fade nor gather insects or dust. There is simply no aftercare. With Ultrashield Eclipse 95% of the sun's solar energy is dissipated back into the atmosphere. Blinding glare is also eliminated enabling you to watch TV, work on a computer or simply read your book in comfort. During the winter months the Eclipse inserts work as a thermal blanket reducing the heat loss through the roof and re-radiating the ambient heat back into the conservatory this also gives the added benefit of helping to lower fuel costs.
